Healing Our Bodies

Angst and stress in life create issues for our health and well being. In some people stress shows it’s self in the form of anxiety attacks or physical pain. In others it’s a headache. There are many forms of relaxation that can help reduce tension and anxiety.
- a brisk walk in nature
- a phone call to a friend
- a warm bath
- a guided meditation Cd
- mindful deep breathing
- an occasional nap
These can all generally assist us with stress or tension. There are no magic answers. We all face situations differently. Sometimes it’s just about perception. Perception can create confusion and that confusion can create a situation of stress.
Our best bet is to keep ourselves open, realizing that as situations shift and understanding dawns our challenge will disappear like the darkness of night. Every situation and stressor is not the same. Life will throw us all curves so having a set of good strategies for our challenging moments is key to remaining balanced and clear.
It’s up to us to keep a clear channel to find clarity in our stressful moments. It won’t always work, but when we focus on being aware and being mindful of our strategies we can go a long way to toning down our anxious moments and flowing through them with much better success.
